🧱 CRF-007: Blocks
A Paradiso Craft video with a new take on making modular magnetic cubes for tabletop terrain. Also, a tragic tale about a dwarf with no vowels in his name.

Paradiso Craft episode 7 is out now! Take a look:
This is my take on a tabletop terrain staple, the humble 1" cube. These cubes are made from XPS foam and magnetized on all sides, with 3 magnets around a corner with one polarity, and 3 around the opposite corner with the opposite polarity. They're inspired by some similar blocks from the RP Archive YouTube channel.
In keeping with my somewhat chaotic and blocky city terrain tiles, these are modular but not uniform, displaying a variety of surfaces and textures to evoke the jumble of urban landscapes.

Coming up with some lore for these was a bit more challenging than usual, as these are relatively simple and have fewer details to draw inspiration from, but I got there eventually and I'm pretty happy with the result! I hope you enjoy the story of Frthg of Yrrmgrthng, and I hope you like the crafting!
